Easy Gulab Jamun

For the Sugar Syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon rose water or a few saffron strands (optional)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Sugar Syrup:

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water to make the sugar syrup.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
  3. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until it slightly thickens.
  4. Add cardamom powder and rose water/saffron (if using). Remove from heat and set aside.

2. Make the Gulab Jamun Dough:
