Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or Italian sausage over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is softened.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and sour cream until well combined.
  1. In the prepared baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti.
  2. Pour half of the meat sauce over the cream cheese layer.
  3. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  1. Allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
