Chocolate Raspberry Layer Cake

To make the chocolate frosting

  1. Place the butter in an enormous mixer bowl and mix until it is the butter is creamy.
  2. Pour the chocolate melt into 3 batches, mixing until it is well incorporated.
  3. Incorporate the cocoa powder, and combine until it is well incorporated.
  4. Mix in about half the sugar powder, and salt as well as the other half of heavy cream. Mix and combine until it is well combined.
  5. Then add the remaining powdered sugar to mix until the mixture is smooth.
  6. Mix in the rest of the heavy cream, if needed, to ensure the proper texture of the frosting.

For the making of the ganache, make the cake

  1. To create the chocolate ganache add the chocolate chips to the bowl of a medium size (see my instructions on making chocolate Ganache).
  2. Make sure to heat the heavy whipping cream by heating it in the microwave till it gets to the point of boiling. Be vigilant since it can happen fast.
  3. Serve the hot milk on top of the chocolate chips. Let it rest for about 2 minutes. Whisk until it becomes smooth. Set aside.

  1. The cake’s first layer should be placed on a platter or a cake circle.
  2. Make a dam on the exterior part of the cake by using some frosting made of chocolate.
  3. Distribute about 1/4 cup of chocolate ganache, inside the dam.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of raspberry filling (use approximately half the raspberry filling for each layer) on top of the chocolate ganache. Then, it will be spread out in an evenly-sized layer.
  5. Layer the second layer of cake. go through the process again from 23 to 25.
  6. Then, add the final layer of cake.
  7. Frost the cake’s top and sides of the cake using the remainder of the chocolate frosting.
  8. The remaining chocolate ganache to poured chocolate across the edges of the cake. Finally, add the chocolate ganache to the middle.   9. Pipe swirls of the chocolate frosting on the center of the cake. finish by decorating with strawberries and chocolate sprinkles If you’d like.
  10. The cake should be refrigerated until you are ready to serve. It is best served warm and can last for 4 to 5 days after being kept in an air-tight container.
