– 1/2 cup heavy cream, chilled
– 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Directions
1. **Prepare the Puff Pastry:
– Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
– Cut the puff pastry sheet into rectangles or squares.
– Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and prick the pastry with a fork to prevent puffing.
– Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
2. **Make the Custard Cream:
– In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam.
– In a bowl, whisk together the sugar, egg yolk, and cornstarch until smooth.
– Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture while whisking to temper the eggs.

– Carefully split the baked puff pastry in half horizontally.
