Crescent and Chicken Roll-ups
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 roll crescent rolls
- 1 ½ cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- In a large bowl, shred the cooked chicken using two forks.
- In another bowl, combine the condensed cream of chicken soup and ½ cup chicken broth, stirring well.
- Add the shredded chicken to the soup mixture and stir in one half of the shredded cheese.
- Open the crescent roll can and lay out the crescent rolls with the wide end near you.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the edge of each crescent roll and start rolling towards the point. Gently pinch the dough to ensure it stays together at the point.
- Place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking tray and put it into the oven.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then slide the tray out.
- Sprinkle the tops of the rolls with the remaining shredded cheese and slide the tray back into the oven.
- Allow to cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let them cool for a moment, and then enjoy your Crescent and Chicken Roll-ups!
Note:
Feel free to customize the recipe by adding your favorite herbs, spices, or additional ingredients to the shredded chicken mixture for extra flavor. You can also serve them with a side of dipping sauce, such as ranch or barbecue sauce.
