Pecan Cream Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup ice water
For the filling:
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
For the topping:
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Additional chopped pecans for garnish
