How to Create Lemon Garlic Chicken Wings
Chicken wings that are cooked in the air fryer are one of my favorite recipes! Crispy on the outside but soft inside and requires significantly less oil than traditional cooking techniques. (Aka this is the most efficient method to cook wings from chicken!)
1. Prepare your marinade. Add your marinade ingredients into a food processor and blend the ingredients till “smooth.”
2. Marinate the chicken wings. Place your wings in the large bag of plastic or bowl, and then add the marinade. Seal the bag, cover it with a lid with a lid and leave them in the marinade for up to a week.
3. Air fry. Preheat your air fryer to 390 °. When it’s done, take your wings of chicken from the marinade, and then place the wings in the basket of your air fryer in one layer. (It’s okay to fry them in batches if you need to). Air fry your wings for 18-20 mins, flipping at intervals (around 9-10 minutes).
4. (Optional) Create a dipping sauce. While the wings cook, prepare another half of the marinade that you can dip your wings later in or apply onto the wings after they’ve finished cooking. (This procedure is completely optional, but it does add lots of flavor!)
5. Serve! Serve your wings right away with additional lemon wedges, and your favorite dipping sauce!
Note: Every air fryer differs, and the cooking time could differ slightly. I’d recommend checking often to make sure that they’re not scorching. (We use that we love!)
Help! I don’t have the air-fryer! Do I have to bake the wings on my own? Absolutely! Crispy lemon garlic baked chicken wings can be just as delicious! Here are the baking instructions:
- Put a huge wire rack on top of a cookie sheet. Spray it using cooking spray. Add your wings of chicken and bake at 400 ° for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown. (DO not flip the wings!)
- To get crisper wings, boil for 3 to 5 minutes once the baking is done!
