Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix-ins & Toppings
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
- ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional but festive!)
- ½ cup red & green M&M’s or sprinkles
- Extra chocolate chips for topping
- Powdered sugar for dusting “snow”

Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
- Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, whisk flour + baking soda + baking powder + salt.
- In another large bowl:
- Beat butter + white sugar + brown sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add vanilla.
- Gently fold dry mixture into wet mixture.
- Add chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and M&M’s.
3. Shape & Chill
- Scoop cookie dough balls and place on tray.
- Chill dough balls in the fridge for 20 minutes (prevents spreading).
4. Bake
- Bake 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and centers soft.
- While warm, press extra chocolate chips/M&Ms on top.
- Dust lightly with powdered sugar to create a “winter snow” effect.
