Spicy Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

1. Cook the Pasta:

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Season and Cook the Chicken:

  • In a bowl, season the sliced chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Sauté Vegetables:

  • In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed. Sauté the red and green bell peppers, red onion, and minced garlic until the vegetables are tender.

4. Prepare the Creamy Cajun Sauce:

  • Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until they start to soften.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in paprika and cayenne pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer and thicken for a few minutes.
